Welcome to Bookworm at Hart!

 

My name is Pippa. For as long as I can remember, I've had a penchant for reading children's books, in particular picture books. In my worldly meanderings over the years, I'd stumble upon a book shop, and could be found tucked away in the back kids corner with my nose buried in a picture book!  Suffice to say when our children came along, one of my favourite pastimes has been selecting books for our children to read. I love journeying with them and opening their eyes and ears to the magic inside the pages of a book. I see books as an invaluable tool, to not only foster imagination and learning, but also to guide and inspire young minds.

 

This passion project of mine showcases, reviews, and recommends books for grown-ups, on behalf of children. I strive to find books that teach children values and help them navigate the struggles of growing up. The overall goal is to create a love of books for children that will last a lifetime. So while I'll be exploring and highlighting some fantastic books for you, your job is to stay in tune with your special kids and have their interests and wellbeing at heart.
